Little Mix - Don’t Let Go (En Vogue cover)
One of the things I love about reality television singing competitions is when you get to see an “Adam Lambert Does “Mad World” on American Idol Season 8” moment, which is when a contestant comes out and ups their game so hard that the resulting explosion probably permanently smooths away some of Simon Cowell’s wrinkles (even if Simon Cowell is not physically present at the time). Maybe they were good before, maybe they were okay, maybe they “had potential,” but this is the performance that blows the socks off the whole audience and forms them into a tower of socks that they can probably use to climb to at least third place. (In this case, Little Mix would go on to climb all the way to first place, and then to the top of the charts. (I’m not implying they climbed socks the whole way there, though, I mean, it was mostly talent and hard work. The socks thing was just a metaphor. You get what I’m saying.))
Anyway, this was Little Mix’s “Adam Lambert Does “Mad World” on American Idol Season 8” moment.
(Skip to 2:00 if you only wanna see the performance, though you’ll miss Little Mix meeting The Saturdays and freaking out about Twilight.)
in addition to all the obvious reasons this is perfect and wonderful, i hadn’t heard jade’s speaking voice before and it’s unbearably cute
yes to the key change and perfect harmony !
